Mario Moraro è nato a Trieste nel 1953. Ha cominciato a lavorare giovanissimo nel campo dell'animazione, finché nel 2001 ha fondato con Isabella Noce lo studio NightFlight. Mario ama "arrampicare" sulle Dolomiti e, da buon sportivo, ha accettato con entusiasmo la sfida di trasferire l'esperienza dei film e della pubblicità in Il Ballo del Qua Qua e in Torpedo Blu (Gallucci), dove gli unici prodotti da promuovere sono l'ironia e il divertimento.
